Safely Recommendations Wind Conditions can be extremely gusty. Don't injure anyone! Including yourself. Parking your kite above you at 12:00 is not recommended. If you park your kite at 12:00 in The Gorge, sooner or later, it will will lift you, and/or overfly you dropping its lines on you. At launch: Keep your kite low and go to the water! Please, no standing around with your kite above you. Look out for TUGBOATS pushing BARGES and other river trafic! Look out for TUGBOATS pulling LOGS and empty log booms! _____________________________________________________________ Heavyweight wetsuit are recommended for May, June and October. (full suit 5-3 mil or 4-3 mil) Lightweight wetsuit are recommended for July, August and September. (shorty or 3/4 wetsuit) Booties can be good in cold water and for crossing rocks. |
